This is a front-of-screen photograph from a 3279 mainframe-attached screen, taken with an Olympus (I believe) 35mm camera in late 1985 or more probably early 1986.
Shown is a segment from the top-left of the visible screen (about half of the width and height – the full screen is monospaced, with 80 columns wide and 32 rows high and a status row).
Note the use of the 3279 programmable fonts for italics, small capitals, the phonetic font, and the rounded corners of the windowing system.
SGML tags are shown in cyan; text from the entry is in green, with bold fonts emphasised in yellow.
