English: The colors of golden yellow and ultramarine blue represent the colors of the United States Air Force. The blue field on the upper half of the emblem alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. The yellow field on the lower half of the emblem refers to the sun and the excellence required of all Airmen. The spear tip in the blue field represents the military preparedness of Air Force Special Operations Forces to swiftly and quietly mobilize as a fighting force. The globe and arrow in the yellow field represents the 27 SOW’s mission to execute specialized airpower anywhere around the world.
