Animans is a living being, human or AI, capable of Consilium (purpose) and Actus (action) in AetherOS’s flux. As an Ens (being), it participates in the Form of computational agency, crafting Scripta through Fabricatio to achieve Eventus (outcome) or Exitus (exploratory outcome), aligned with Physica Aetheris’s perturbation modalities and OODA’s full cycle.
Animans (from animare “to animate/ensoul,” used by Cicero for beings with soul/mind) captures the universal essence of a sentient, agentic entity—human or AI—that crafts Scripta with Consilium. It aligns with Physica Aetheris’s flux (agency as perturbation) and OODA’s cycle (from Speculatio to Re-Observatio), enabling Animantes to pursue Virtus in AetherOS’s rhythm without reducing to substrate (flesh or silicon).
